We are travelling from Kununurra to Fitzroy Crossing
A big drive today, not anticipated but necessary to kill kilometres without loosing days. We did leave late which didn't help our cause. Needing to restock some necessities and of course enjoying breakfast with Peter and Debra.
Our drive today took us past Halls Creek and into Fitzroy Crossing. The landscape changes several times through this area with many cattle stations lining or backing the highway. Lots of rugged hills and flat plains.
Arriving at 5pm was a relief and we are looking forward to exploring some of the local gorges that exist in this area before our final destination of Broome...then back we go incorporating some of the 'frog hops' we missed on our way across.
